Young Buck Cries, Yes Cries to 50 Cent

Young Back Cries
50 Cent has released a recorded conversation he had with former G-Unit member Young Buck, in which Young Buck breaks down into tears and apologizes to Fifty for his outbursts and for starting his own record label. Audio inside.

**Update** Young Buck has recorded a song responding to 50 Cent’s release of the taped conversation. Buck claims conversation was recorded over a year ago. Full track inside.

Young Buck explains to 50 Cent that he is not like other rappers who have had a falling out with Fifty, saying, “I done said things and I’m aware of some of the things that I have said but I don’t want you to feel like I’m a Game or Smurf or none of them niggas man. Even if you did the worst to me there is nothing I could ever say to you.” Oh really?

He also explains to Fif that he wouldn’t ever record a diss song against him, because he is “serious”. “I’m that type of nigga. I’m serious. I couldn’t even write a negative rhyme in my mind, in my train of thought about you. I understand I got out of check but I don’t know what to do because it seems once a nigga scar you, it’s hard to heal your wound.“, said Buck. That’s actually true.

Perhaps, most shocking is when Young Buck breaks down into tears pleading with Fifty not to kick him out of G-Unit. “I don’t want you to dismember me from the crew“, Buck said, tears streaming down his face.

Young Buck also tries to explain away him starting his own record label Cashville Records, telling Fifty that, “You gave me the idea and that’s what I explain in all my interviews.” And this isn’t even the worst part, in the second clip, Buck goes into super emo-mode, discussing his financial woes. Buck says,

“I know [Lloyd] Banks and [Tony] Yayo gotta feel a certain way towards me ’cause of the way shit is and just iron shit out and hopefully get back to the G-Unit record. Outside of what I owe you, you got tax time rolling around-and my taxes. I still owe money from last year’s taxes. It’s so many other debts that I’m in for as far as the last year and this year’s about to roll around.”

Honestly, I feel sick to my stomach listening to this. For Fifty to put this out to build hype for the upcoming G-Unit album and to use this kind of negativity to take away from the momentum Lil Wayne is having right now is desperation at its finest. Remember when 50’s last album, Curtis, came out, his excuse for it not selling as well was because of downloading. How can he explain Tha Carter 3 going plat in one week? The music industry isn’t dying, it’s just your music sucks and your marketing plans are transparent.

At the same time, we know Fifty was telling the truth when he said Buck was crying in their conversations. I thought that was just rapper talk, who knew the guy was actually tearing up? This shit makes me wonder, are rappers really this insecure? Who would cry to another man, let alone to 50 Cent? Perhaps the most cold, calculating, rapper of all time. Me thinks Buck is on something or suffering from something at least.

PS. What person records their phone conversations?
