Here’s a snippet of Lil Wayne’s overhyped lead single to Tha Carter 3, Lollipop. Song sounds like a mix between Flo-Rida’s Low and T-Pain’s Bartender mixed with a little Snoop Dogg’s Sexual Seduction. The rap game is all fuked up.

[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sI-M7S7xNlU] The hate continues for those who can’t read, Prodigy has been nice enough to put out a video interview to accompany his wonderful blog, all on his last day before heading to the big house. I can just hear registers ringing for homie’s album. Please note the sarcasm. I guess P didn’t read that […]
I never thought rappers I looked up to would ever become disgruntled like the broke ass old school rappers of yesteryear. I guess when your album’s trash, your street cred annihilated by Jay-Z, and you happen to be 4 feet tall, life sucks. Rapper Prodigy from the oh so infamous Mobb Deep, decides to post another blog today in the hopes of stirring up more controversy on the internetz and sucking every last drop of fame he once had from the masses. Here’s an excerpt from Webster’s diary (note the caps lock held down),
TMZ is reporting rapper, Game has finished his 60 day sentence, 52 days early. Translation, homie did an 8 day bid for waving a gat around at a ball game. G’d up
The latest issue of The Source (does anybody check this mag anymore?) features none other than Lil Wayne. Lay off the lean homie…
The recent photoshop beef between Fat Joe and 50 Cent have got me thinking…what’s up with rappers and photoshop? I mean since Master P and the old Cash Money were putting together the most photoshop’d album covers ever, niggas have been fascinated with the idea of taking a picture of you in your mamma’s kitchen and making it seem like your in front of a mansion, surrounded by half naked women in fur coats, sitting on a Bentley, and have, for no reason, two huge Facob diamond watches coming down from the sky (and let’s not forget the addition of stacks of cash, machine guns, tanks, and other army paraphernalia). Remember that song by The Roots? Pretty much.
This Lollipop track looks crazy hot. The video drops March 12th on BET.
