No doubt Game is decent but he’s apparently “retiring” and sounds like a NY rapper. [sidebar: You know how many rappers said they were retiring and then came back? Master P, Too Short, Jay-Z, Ma$e, Saigon, etc] But Cali-for-ni-ya has the worst rappers in the world right now. Now I get a lot of love from Cali readers (shouts to the 310) but Cali has some weirdos in the rap game.

Aside from the legends, Pac, Snoop, Dre, Xzibit???, Too Short, Cyprus Hill, E-40, which new comers does Cali have in the batters box ready to take the game back? I know ’nuff heads talk about New Yorks fallen’ off but what about Cali? They only on whenever Dr.Dre drops.

And who cares about that hyphy movement? Is that nonsense still on? Peeps think Eastcoast rappers stay on the South’s dick, that hyphy shit is nothing but Southern dick riding. And another thing if you from the west and you rap then don’t try to have a New York accent, I got cousins in LA and they have some surfer dude type talk. Now I know their are rappers from Cali that do keep it real but I’m not sure I can respectively bump this in the whip.

If this is the future of Cali rap than rock with it, because the truth is most of yall live in suburbs and have crazy sunshine all the time. Shit rap about earthquakes or something. I’m sick of hearing the “Boyz in the Hood” narrative every Game album and I assume that’s what every gangster rapper from Compton does as well.
