Round 1: Kanye West Wins First Day Sales Battle

After a day of much hype and even over kill capitalized by both Fifty and Kanye making appearances on Bet’s 106&Park (not to mention Jay-Z randomly showing up to put both artist in their place). The registers have been ringing non-stop over at Amazon.com making them the real winner in this battle between hip-hop’s heavy weights. In fact, they are even getting in on the “action” by publicizing who is leading in sales (check above image) and going so far as to urge customers to buy both albums, their tag line is “Don’t be a hater…just buy them both!”. Now Amazon may sponsor part of this site, but damn who died and made them boxden? I joke Amazon hipsters, now where’s my cheque!

As reported earlier on in the day, Kanye West’s “Graduation” is leading in sales by 70%, while Fifty’s “Curtis” only accounts for 30%. Things are not looking so good for Ol’ Fifty.
