So, basically the reviewer dislikes the album because he is too stupid to get the lyrics. This whole review is the reason why I like Lupe Fiasco. He refuses to conform to just “HOT CLUB BANGAS,” and continues to use word play that actually invokes thought.

Oh, and, Snoop is on Hi-Definition because his concert band is from LA…

I find it weird that this entire review nit-picks the album, while giving it a 4/5 overall. This album is what more artists should attempt to deliver.

I stand as contradiction to your last statement,”… Lupe will not gain any new fans with this album, but only confirm the faithful.”
I heard and immediately loved Superstar and bought the album after catching the Dumb it Down video.
You do seem lost in the lyrics for half the album. But it’s a dense mysterious dark forest that needs to be trekked.
Those are my feelings and now critically.
This album is excellent. And shows a mind comparable and at times surpassing even a Jay-Z.

I think his first album Food & Liquor (the leaked version, not the retail version) is a classic and I would give that album 5/5.

I personally bump Graduation more than The Cool and think they are about tie. Both have pros and cons. But so far nothing still beats Budden’s MM2 or MM3.

Yo Imma say this is a good review, took a while, but i have one reservation with this. I mean a four is an excellant review, but I think this is a better album than most of the other fours you’ve given out like Chamillionaire and Kanye, but on saying that this aint no Five, it aint mood music (which i got to say huge props for turning me on to budden). I dont even want to give this a 4.5, but I just want to point out i guess i liked this better than Graduation.
