Keshia Chante is Aaliyah

According to reports, Canadian R&B singer has signed on to play Aaliyah in an upcoming movie based on the late singer’s life. The movie will begin shooting in August and will likely come out next year.
This is a great choice because I always thought Keshia Chante looked a little like Aaliyah, hopefully she can be able to channel some of the same sexy hood swag Aaliyah had. [Full disclosure: YoRapper had a serious crush on Aaliyah bitd.]

I think she luks a tiny bit like aaliyah and she acts abit like her. i just finished listening to her song (been gone) and it’s probably the type of song aaliyah would sing if she was still alive.

i am so freakin excited to be hearing this, i’m bout to go crazy,
first of all, i love aaliyah with all my heart, she died on august 25, 2001, which was my 8th b-day, i’m gonnna go see it at least 5 times,
i been waitin for this for so long, it seemed like everybody had forgotten BABY GIRL, i’m so happy and miss her so much
