G-Unit TOS first week sales

G-Unit disappoints while Lil Wayne ignites…

Despite rumors (spread by G-Unit stans) that G-Unit’s TOS would do 700k in a week the harsh reality for the Gorilla Unit is that they did a lackluster 102,000 putting them #4 on Billboard. This compares to their 2003 debut album, Beg for Mercy, which sold 377,000 in its first week and debut at #1. *Waits for Fifty’s excuse*

Lil Wayne on the other hand, made a strong comeback, coming in at #1 again with 156,000 sold for a grand total of 1.68 million units. If that homemade A Millie video had anything to do with this than expect another milli when the Got Money video drops.

    why does everyone hold 50/g-unit to such a high standard?
    dude keeps puttin’ his foot in his mouth. let em’ be. i got money was hot but even that had nothing on that ol’ g-unit magic. oh well all’s well that ends well i guess i dont’ think they’ll ever be another super succesful million record selling album out of anyone in g-unit.

    50 Cent and the G-Unit are the best click out there. The album is so good that after I won a copy I went out and bought two for some friends.

    I wouldn’t normally do this for 50 or any other rapper but this album is the boss.

    Tha Carter III might have some sick drops on there, but it doesn’t flow thematically…it’s all over the damn place…good, but thrown together too quick. T.O.S. is a well thought out concept of pretecting what’s yours!

    50 AND G UNIT RUNNING DA INDUSTRY.
