Here’s the interview 50 Cent did with ABC News. They don’t break any new ground other than that Fifty lives in Farmington, CT. It’s entertaining nonetheless.

Dame Dash “Where’s the Love?”
Posted on: November 4, 20091 comment so far
The guy best known for throwing a tantrum at Def Jam offices, cussing out random guys on the Hard Knock Life Tour and pouring cris on skinny white chicks, is asking the age old question where’s the love.
Dame Dash reacts to the Jay-Z/Beanie Sigel beef and apparently he’s rocking to a different tune these days, not to mention the Urkel glasses he swagger jacked from Hov.

Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent Interview
Posted on: November 3, 20092 comments so far (is that a lot?)

Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent appear together for an interview on Power 99 to discuss the Beanie/Jay-Z beef. From my perspective this looks like Fifty is just being an opportunist getting into the situation to throw rocks at Jay-Z, but that’s just me. Fifty also implies that Jay-Z stopped Beanie Sigel from getting a $800k record deal with an undisclosed label.
Sigel also responds to Jay-Z’s press conference comments about being giving two Bentleys, getting a record label and a clothing line. As well as being “rejected” by Jay-Z during his bail hearing.

Jay-Z Says He Did Push Beanie Sigel
Posted on: October 30, 2009No comments yet
Jay-Z has responded to Beanie Sigel’s accusations that he didn’t “push” him as hard as 50 Cent did Game while at a concert stop in Montreal, Canada. Here’s what he said:
Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label and a clothing line and NEVER WENT PLATINUM. I don’t know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little. If that’s not pushing a person..sh*t.
- Jay-Z.
Here’s more from the Montreal press conference where Jay-Z talks about surpassing Elvis and growing as an artist.

Beanie Sigel “What You Talking Bout” (Jay-Z Diss)
Posted on: October 30, 20092 comments so far (is that a lot?)
Beanie Sigel goes in on Jay-Z. Apparently, Beanie Sigel is upset with Jay-Z for a number of reasons:
1) At Sigel’s hearing the judge asked Jay-Z to take responsibility for Sigel’s whereabouts, and Jay-Z said “no”.
2) Jay-Z didn’t give him the proper marketing to sell more records like how 50 Cent gave G-Unit “hit singles”. Beans wonders why Jay-Z was never on his singles.
3) Jay-Z didn’t visit Beanie Sigel when he was in jail in 2003, but 50 Cent came to visit his uncle every month, even though Fifty was much busier selling 10 million records.
4) He feels Jay-Z owes him a conversation or more particularly a schooling on “how to get money” (i.e. get an accountant, lawyer, etc.)

Joe Budden on Origins of Jay-Z Beef

Shyne Getting Deported to Belize?
Posted on: October 21, 20091 comment so far
As you probably are aware Shyne was to be released from prison last Tuesday October 6th, however, because of some confusion regarding his immigration status he is still being held in custody. Officials are determining whether or not to deport Shyne back to his native country of Belize, where his dad is the Prime Minister.
Shyne’s lawyers will be continuing the fight to get Shyne back into the country, and his legal team as well as Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree are urging fans to petition Governor Patterson to have Shyne’s deportation decision reversed.
In short, it looks like we’re never going to get a Shyne album ever again.

Slaughterhouse Signing to Shady Records?
Posted on: September 28, 2009No comments yet
MTV talks to Royce Da 5′9″ about Slaughterhouse signing to Eminem’s Shady Records (because after all we did see them in the Forever video together). Even though Royce doesn’t confirm the rumors he does mention they are in “talks”.
On a side note, I’ve always thought our once beloved Joe Budden would be great on Shady, hopefully Slaughterhouse allows him to develop a relationship over there.

Blueprint 3 Debuts at #1 on Billboard
Posted on: September 16, 20093 comments so far (is that a lot?)

Was there any surprise that Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 wouldn’t hit #1 on Billboard? In it’s first week alone, BP3 pushed 475,670 units. Not only are the numbers impressive but this also makes Jay-Z the first solo artist EVER to have 11 #1 albums. “Jigga held you down 11 summers damn!”.
In other album sale news, Raekwon’s Only Built For Cuban Linx 2 sold a cool 67,625 albums, which I guess isn’t bad for having no mainstream singles. In fact if you compare it to Slaughterhouse’ dud which dropped a few weeks back, there only at 33,180 copies. Me thinks Royce, Joel and Crooked I are going to be kicking out Joey out soon.
Fab’s album Loso’s Way, which is the most generic album in rap history, sold a little over 200k. Honestly, Fabolous needs to call it quits, he ain’t no artist.
