Chris Le, who recently directed Game’s Superman video and is within Game’s circle posted a message on The Real BWS forums saying:
Haven’t been on here in a minute! Wuss good with yall? Superman is at it’s completion and we about to go full blast. but heres the latest BWS 5 and guess what, Game is hosting it with Haze. AND NOT TO MENTION, Look out for a JAYZ Diss track from game produced by my lil brother, Tommy Gunnz.
So apparently there’s a Jay-Z diss courtesy of Game on a DJ Haze “BWS Radio Part 5″ mixtape. I’ll post it as soon as it hits the net.

Forbes has released their list for the rap games best earners for 2008. Topping the list and overcoming Jay-Z is none other than 50 Cent. Hey remember when he went at Jay on “Be A Gentlemen” and he was broke as a joke, now he’s surpassed Hov. Whoa. I’m not sure who has more money Jay-Z or 50 Cent, I assume they are pretty close. So now apparently Kanye West (and not Timbaland) will be producing the bulk of Jay-Z’s last album on Def Jam entitled The Blueprint 3. A title I happened to predict would be the name of Jay’s next album, by the way. And since I’m touting my own horn, I just realized I predicted that Kardinal Offishall got next in 2008. Oh yeah and I can’t forget my Lil Wayne selling a milli in one week prediction either. I’m sorry but I’m fronten’ though. Read more »

So apparently Dr. Dre has done a deal with a company by the name of Drinks America to create a Dr. Dre endorsed alcoholic beverage likely a cognac. The company has released a statement saying that it will release the Dr.Dre co-branded drink called “Aftermath Cognac” within the next 60 days.
Now I know what you’re thinking who cares? We’ll they also say that the drink’s release will coincide with Dr.Dre’s next album, “Detox”, and will be part of the marketing of the album. This pretty much falls inline with what Dre told USA Today saying that “it would drop in November or December”.
Now if Dre has signed on to drop this cheesy cash grab brandy and release it at the same time as “Detox” then he has no choice but to drop the damn album this year. Right?
*Crosses fingers*

A strong earthquake shook Southern California on Tuesday, causing buildings to sway and triggering some precautionary evacuations. No immediate damage was reported.
The jolt was felt from Los Angeles to San Diego, and slightly in Las Vegas.
Preliminary information from the U.S. Geological Survey estimated the quake at magnitude 5.8, centered 29 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles near Chino Hills in San Bernardino County. Ten aftershocks occurred in the next dozen minutes, including three estimated at 3.8, and the U.S. Geological Survey estimated the quake was about 8 miles below the earth’s surface. Source
To all my cali heads this is your earthquake roll call. Was that shit really crazy or just a regular day in the neighborhood?

Bill O’Reilly takes another few jabs at Nas, specifically pointing out his record sales or lack thereof.
Our response, ahhh isn’t Nas #1 on Billboard?
Literally… Today (July 23) Nas stood up to give arousing speech for protesters from ColorOfChange.org/MoveOn.org and to present Fox News at their headquarters in Manhattan a petition to end the station’s biased reporting.
Lil’ homie, whose latest album, Untitled, has just made it to #1 on Billboard with 187K argues that Fox News needs to end its racist reporting of Black people in America and particularly of Barack Obama and his family. Nas heads’ will also know that Nas recently released a new song entitled “Sly Fox” which goes straight for the News conglomerate’s jugular.
Fox News has released the following statement about Nasir Jones.
Fox News believes in all protesters exercising their right to free speech, including Nas, who has an album to promote.
I’m not sure if this is a publicity stunt or if Nas is really rolling with this left-wingers or if he’s just fighting back against Bill O’s comments about him last year. What say yall?
