French Montana Signs with Akon

Akon makes it official that he’s signed French Montana to Konvict Music, however admits he didn’t sign him for $10 million (contrary to internet rumors). This is pretty surprising, but a great move for French Montana. I wonder what Hell Rell thinks of this? Or the other third tier Dip Set members. They must be sour.

Another thing, how many rappers does Akon have signed? Kardinal Offishall, Red Cafe, and now French Montana. That ain’t a bad line up.

My thinking is he signed Frenchie of his street dvd empire, his complete opposite style to the emo rappers out right now and just to show he’s a G.
