On another note, an interesting thing about Jamie Foxx is that his real name isn’t Jamie Foxx. It’s actually Eric Marlon Bishop. See when he was coming up as a comedian he found that female acts we’re getting put on earlier in the night. So he chose a name to not have to deal with the “comedy club politics”. Pretty smart. He also chose Foxx as a way to big up comedian Redd Foxx.
