Staring Fredro Start (of Onyx), Rick Ross, Flo-Rida and Noreaga. Looks like another straight to DVD hip hop movie. I’m still going to watch it though.
Looks like “Nigger” is actually going to come out, what with the huge promotional push Nas has been giving this album as of late (*sarcasm*). Nas speaks about the sales expectations on “Nigger” saying, “It’s not going to sell five, ten million copies, c’mon this is hip hop”. He also speaks on the election year saying that he wasn’t with the “vote or die” movement in 2004 and that having Barack Obama running is “great….but I’m in my own world”. Read more »
Mariah Carey speaks on Nick Cannon’s mack game and how they went from dating to marriage. She also shows off her engagement ring and also talks about their impromptu wedding ceremony.
Damn never knew Nick Cannon was so in love with Mariah. Check out his Mariah tattoo.

Rapper Remy Ma, who was featured on Fat Joe’s smash hit Lean Back, and who is currently engaged to Brooklyn rapper Papoose, has been hit with an 8 year sentence for shooting a woman outside a Manhattan club. Remy Ma, whose real name is Remy Smith, has been officially convicted with assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion. Her lawyers have advised that they will appeal the decision, but things are not looking too good for home girl. Prosecutors were looking to put Miss Remy Ma away for thirteen years.
This all steams from an incident outside a New York club in which Remy Ma was arguing with “her friend” who she pulled a gun on and allegedly started tussling with her when the gun discharged. Proof that no rapper should own guns.
On a side note, her jail house wedding ceremony with lover Papoose seems like it’s going to happen.

As some of you probably already know, Noel from the group Oasis, had some harsh things to say about Jay-Z headlining this big show in the U.K., which is usually headlined by a rock act. The angry English dude basically blamed Jigga for the lack of ticket sales this year. It’s taken a while for Jay-Z to respond (probably to busy dissing ball players) but here’s what he had to say about the situation.
We don’t play guitars, Noel, but hip-hop has put in its work like any other form of music. This headline show is just a natural progression. We just have to respect each other’s genre of music and move forward.
I’ve never ever had a show that’s caused this much of a stir so I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve never been involved in anything this controversial. What’s the big deal about doing a show? I guess it’s heritage and people hold that dear to their heart and see it one way but that’s how the world is. The world has to change. It just can’t be one thing - and that’s the beautiful thing. That’s why people feel so passionate about an event.
And the winner is…
Watching this feels like watching a Micheal Jackson video in 2008. A once huge star that has strayed so far away from their core fan base they are hardly recognizable anymore. But I digress.
Anyone notice the Weezyness in the hook? Things that make you say “hmmmm”.
Haha remember this? This video used to make me feel tingly in my pants.
You know it’s crazy, almost every other week, I hear about a friend or someone I used to know that sniffs that white stuff. It’s shocking because, I always had this moral principle (which I learned through this rap music) that being a dust head just isn’t cool. I mean look how disrespectful we are toward fiends as if they are sub-human or zombies. Cocaine references have always been a part of hip hop culture and I always thought that we were being warned to stay away from the white stuff because it is a loser drug. For the record, I have never tried it, and am vehemently against ever trying it ever. Read more »

The CRS crew come together for this new joint on the upcoming N.E.R.D. LP. I’m still trying to figure out why Pusha T on this? Aside from the fact he’s probably hanging around the NEPs 24/7, I’m thinken street cred purposes.
