Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour starts April 16, 2008 in Seattle and finishes June 11 in Minneapolis. The tour which will go for over 2 months will be headlined by Kanye West, and feature artists like Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and N.E.R.D.
I’m a pretty level headed person, but nothing gets me more heated than when (1) Republicans attack Barack Obama for non-issue based reasons such as his middle name being Hussein or because his father was a Muslim from Kenya and (2) when little kids claim Lil Wayne is better than Jay-Z. First of all, grow the fuck up.
Now admittedly, I have never heard anyone mumble such ignorance in person, but here in bizarro internet world, people are apparently retarded. Take the amount of anti-Obama videos popping up on Youtube right now courtesy of the good folks at Fox News. I don’t know who taught these hicks to record Fox to their computers or how they even have computers in the first place but there consistent posting of Fox News clips as the premier informational resource on all things Obama is driving me crazy.
How can anyone take Fox News seriously? Who watches this nonsense? How can these people not see through this bullshit? Though these are the same yahoos that gave George Bush a second term.
Now for the Weezy-riders…Jay-Z’s track record speaks for itself. But if your too lazy to read all that because you are pumped up on promethazine. 10 multi-platinum albums in 12 years. Don’t get me wrong, Lil Wayne is great but he’s no where near Jigga yet and will likely be nowhere near Hov’s success when he is 40 -if he lives that long.
Wow. I guess we now know why Jay-Z teamed up with Mary for the tour? This joint just premiered on Hot 97 and it is certified CRAZY. Just look at this on paper, Swizz Beats on the boards, Mary on the hook and Jigga on the verses. Need I say more?
After tickets for their first hometown stop on the sold out “Heart Of The City” tour, Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige have now added a second show in New York. The pre-sale for tickets for a second show at Madison Square Garden go on sale this morning at 10 a.m. EST and are expected to go quickly.
As previously reported, both Mary J. Blige and Jay Z will kick off their 25-date tour across North America next month at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on the co-headlining bill. Tickets for the first show were priced from $76-$347 and are expected to stay the same for the newly added date.
The blockbuster tour is set to criss cross the country and also make stops in Canada, with concerts already scheduled in Boston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Houston, Toronto, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
New straight to youtube video courtesy of G-Unit for the smash “Be Good To Me” off the Return of the Body Snatchers tape. This songs hot, they should have put this on their album.
Well what do you know? Lil Wayne’s imprint, Young Money Entertainment signs Jae Millz. This is footage from Weezy’s concert in NJ, where among doing an impression of that crazy girl from The Ring, he casually made the announcement.
I expect Millz will be leaving “the label” in about 10 months.
