According to Jermaine Dupri, Usher is finna drop his follow up album to his 2004 Confessions, which has since sold 9.4 million copies [sidebar: Whoa!]. Usher has the serious case of the burns as JD is saying,

Guerilla Black -I’m A Don

Guerilla Black is back and this time sounding more like Biggie than ever. This track is kinda dope though, its off his mixtape “The Businessman Mixtape”, for promotional purposes only.

Can I predict the future or what. In early December I had posted on the now defunct JoeBudden.org that Joe Budden needed to get signed by Eminem in order to really make it. I cited numerous reasons which included Em’s financial backing and more importantly Em’s ability to understand Joe’s “mood” music. Fast forward to today and what do you know? A source close to Eminem confirms,

It is close to being closed and has been in development for at least 3 weeks. It will be announced by months end. Em and Paul Rosenberg got a copy of MM3 and apparently made the heads up decision to pursue Joey. Now all the numbers are being crunched but it will be 3 to 5 album deal and very lucrative.

If all they have heard is MM3, they need to listen to MM2, and then they’ll be giving him a 10 album deal! This is great news for Budden and for hip hop. Def Jam will be kicking themselves next year.

According to Kanye’s blog, he has just finished shooting the Flashing Lights video. He says,
